Don't give up!

EVER! Giving up is sooooo easy, and sometimes it feels like it’s the only solution to solving all problems. But it’s not.

Dreams come true. Goals are being achieved. I’m a dreamer, but I’m also a DOer. I like to write out daily goals, monthly, yearly, 1-year goals, etc. I highly advise doing so as well. Doing these will change your life- they changed mine! Discipline, discipline, discipline!

When I first started in showbiz I wrote down 3 goals for the month: get an agent, get good headshots, get booked in a short film. I broke those goals down in little sections and what I needed to do to achieve them.

I sent emails to every agent in the Southeast, searched for local headshot photographers, and looked for casting calls in my area in every Facebook acting group. After 2 weeks I was cast in my first student film, met up with a local photographer Valeria Tanuzzi (you should check her out on Instagram!) and signed with my first agent in Florida.

A year later I already had IMDb Pro, Actors Access, 10 credits on my resume, my first demo reel and new headshots.

Two years later I booked my first commercial and a feature film, and learned new special skills: katana sword fighting, Italian, DJ’ing and much more!

While I was achieving those goals- do you know what started to happen? I got hated on! Yes, I actually started getting haters from a local community and different markets. People talked shit behind my back, I kept getting hate messages on my cell- oh, good ol' days!

But also, good people started telling me that I would go far (and they still do), so the expectations were set high and I kept on going.

I almost ended up homeless during the pandemic, because I lost my apartment. I simply didn't have the money. And guess what? I still didn't give up!

During the CoVid pandemic I was crazy busy! I was vlogging, traveling, booking things, learned how to do pole dancing, wrote and published a few books, got headshots with different wigs, got a demo reel that represented my brand… so much stuff! I get bored so easily that I always have to be on the go.

If I can do it- so can you! I’m like a cat- I love to snuggle, I love when people pet my head and I procrastinate a lot! Mostly because I love to eat and I love watching films and new shows on Hulu. What helps me is this- I have only ONE LIFE, so why not make it THE BEST ONE? I don’t know how much time I have in the world and I want to make my dreams come true before it’s too late.

In conclusion- don’t give up! Work hard, work smart, FUCK THE HATERS and stay close to people who support and guide you. Hey, you CAN do this ;)
